In the many years I’ve been wandering the world, I’ve been so lucky to see amazing sites. I do think travel is a wonderful way to learn, about other people, other cultures, and, of course, world history. I attended Oktoberfest in 1989 when I was living in West Germany. I mentioned it at work once, talking about the big tents, the music, the crowds, and how much fun it was.
